CORPORATE FP&A: Analyzing and presenting financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business. Leading the FP&A function to provide insightful analysis and support for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Driving the financial planning process, working with business units and functional leaders to develop long-range financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives. LUXURY RETAIL: Created and executed the Channel and Category Strategy doubling the size of the business, defined profitable go-to-market structures.

DIGITALIZATION: Performance Marketing ROI and analytics to drive in-year and strategic growth.

REVERSE MENTORING: Created We2 two-way mentoring program for Unilever finance professionals sharing digital savviness and technologies between senior and junior managers.

ZERO-BASED BUDGETING (ZBB) PROGRAM: Led Unilever through planning and implementing ZBB across 75% of Unilever’s turnover and cost base covering supply chain, overheads, and marketing costs. Delivered c20% sustainable cost efficiencies, established a new ‘frugal’ mindset, reset organization investment priorities, and assurance of target delivery. Led the Unilever Executive Sponsor group and established Accenture partnership to deliver the program within 12 months. Extensive change management.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLERSHIP & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Group target setting and delivery of results through regions and categories, management and financial reporting of overheads.

BUSINESS PARTNER TO CHIEF HR OFFICER AND CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER: Delivery of HR and Legal functional cost glide paths to benchmarks, and financial training of teams.

LOCATION STRATEGY TRANSFORMATION: Future Location Strategy to lower global costs and move to tax efficiency with the right talent levels.

COST REDUCTION:  Delivered 30% cost savings across the service lines and >€xmn in Other Trade Income (“OTI”) through sale, restructure, and corporate securitizations of freehold property and assets. Benchmarking reviews and contract re-negotiations completed to drive the savings agenda.

SERVICE LINE STRATEGY/VISION: Created strategy of a quality service line where internal clients pay for the service used. Created a new team of 40 finance managers/analysts to BP service lines.

CREATION OF REAL ESTATE STRATEGY:  Led Unilever’s Workplace P&L and IAS17 lease accounting reporting of c. €3bn. Evaluation and appraisal of leasing and development opportunities, capital investments, revenue models, profit analysis, leasing regulation advisory, and CAPEX business cases. Defined efficiency measures in tax and holding structures for owned real estate, and generated long-term ownership strategies.

NEGOTIATION OF KEY OUTSOURCING CONTRACTS: Led key contract negotiations with Accenture on global mobility, recruitment, learning, and admin support; CBRE and Cushmans and Wakefield for facilities and real estate transactional services, Sodexo contract for facilities transformation program and IBM and Capgemini on P2P, R2P, O2C. Contracts delivered key savings opportunities, flexibility on re-negotiations, and relentless quality and reporting measures.

INSOURCING OPPORTUNITIES: Financial controllership of Bangalore Operating Center and creation of new Philippines OC for both Finance and HR Service Lines. Insourcing services back from Accenture.

FUTURE FINANCE STRATEGY: Created global finance function strategy with hubs of expertise, driving the functional glide path to benchmark.
